A booking is only secured once the deposit has been paid. Any deposits paid are only refundable providing 72 hours notice has been provided and no additional costs to the owner has incurred. 


All minors must be accompanied by a suitable chaperone.


Clients must abide by covid rules and regulations.

Terms and conditions

  • Bookings:

The booking/contract is a mutual agreement between you (the client) and Faye Cumberbatch (the makeup artist/company) under the terms outlined in these Terms and Conditions.

For a booking to be confirmed:

- Both parties must agree on all details, including the services to be provided, time, location, pricing, etc.

- The client must agree to the full Terms and Conditions outlined in this page.

- The deposit (if applicable) has been received.

It is also recommended that the client provide 3 direct methods of communication.

By making a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions in full.

  • Expectations:

Services will be limited to what was agreed prior to the appointment. If any additional services are requested during the appointment, they will be provided based on allocated time and product availability. Extra charges may apply.

The number of models booked must align with the allotted time. For complex bookings, an assistant artist may be required, which could incur additional fees. Any additional artists engaged may have their own fees as well as terms and conditions.

By booking our services, you acknowledge that you are seeking beauty related services that align with our skills and artistic style.

The makeup artist will tailor the application based on your request and inspiration, offering guidance and expertise. However, the final result will be influenced by factors such as skin texture, bone structure, and individual features.

If you are dissatisfied with the service, please communicate your concerns immediately and provide specific details. This will allow the makeup artist to make reasonable adjustments to meet your expectations, where possible. It is unreasonable to raise complaints after the makeup artist has left the premises, as we are unable to address concerns once the session has concluded.

  • Suitable Workspace Requirement:

Clients are responsible for providing a suitable and safe workspace for the makeup artist, which should include:

- A clean, flat surface (such as a medium size table or countertop) for setting up equipment and products.

- Access to nearby electrical outlets for lighting or electrical hairstyling tools if required.

- A chair or stool for the model, preferably a tall chair for comfortable makeup application.

Failure to provide an appropriate workspace may impact the quality and efficiency of the booked service.

  • Payments:

Payment methods accepted include cash, bank transfers, or PayPal. The remaining payments are due on the appointment date (prior to the appointment). Receipts or invoices are available upon request.

  • Deposit:

To confirm your reservation, a deposit of up to 50% of the service value may be necessary, which will be deducted from your final invoice.

Deposits must be remitted within 15 days of booking to secure your appointment. Failure to submit the deposit within this timeframe may result in the automatic cancellation of your reservation.

Please note that all deposits are non-refundable.

For bookings requiring an overnight stay or extensive travel, including travel abroad or overseas, additional deposits and fees may be applicable.

  • Late Arrivals:

Clients are responsible for arriving promptly or being ready and available for the scheduled appointment time. Any delays may result in shortened appointment times and will not warrant a reduction in service fees.

  • Travel:

Travel within Manchester CC is included in the service. Additional transport fees may apply for bookings outside Manchester, within Europe, or any other overseas territory.

In the event that fulfilling your booking requires the Makeup Artist to perform an overnight stay, whether it be the night prior, the night following, or for the duration of the assignment, additional fees may be applicable as part of the deposit. Should you cancel or postpone your appointment, these additional fees may be subject to reimbursement, contingent upon the type of accommodation booked and the advance notice provided for cancellations. Should a postponement be arranged, supplementary accommodation charges may also be incurred

  • Modifications:

Any changes to the booking, including but not limited to alterations in services, timing or number of models, etc, must be communicated and agreed upon by both parties prior to the appointment.

  • Cancellations:

If you cancel your Appointment, charges apply based on when you cancel:

Cancellations made within 60 days of the appointment date will result in a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the total fee.

Cancellations made between 61-90 days before the appointment date will incur a cancellation fee of 75% of the total fee.

Cancellations made between 91-120 days before the appointment date will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total fee.

Cancellations made more than 120 days before the appointment date will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

If you postpone your appointment instead of canceling, and if dates are available, your payments can be applied to the new appointment date. The total fees for the new date will be based on the rates at that time.

In the event that I am able to book another appointment for the same date as your canceled or postponed appointment, you will receive a refund of your deposit (minus any incurred expenses) and any other payments made.

It is essential to communicate any changes or cancellations as soon as possible to allow for adjustments to bookings and schedules.

  • Unforeseen Circumstances:

In the unlikely event that unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of the makeup artist obstruct or impede the fulfillment of obligations under the agreement, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government regulations, accidents, emergencies, bereavement, illness, etc, Every effort will be made to find a suitable replacement Makeup Artist. If a replacement cannot be arranged a full refund including the deposit will be issued or a reschedule of the appointment if applicable. The makeup artist cannot be held liable or responsible for any resulting damages or losses arising from unforeseeable circumstances.

  • Illness:

For the health and safety of both clients and the makeup artist, prior to their appointment, clients/models must disclose any skin conditions (such as rashes, irritation, open wounds, or skin diseases, etc) or contagious illnesses (including but not limited to cold sores, conjunctivitis, fungal, viral, or bacterial infections, etc). This also includes any other highly transmissible illnesses, such as Norovirus, colds, flu, Covid-19, etc.

If a client arrives displaying symptoms of a contagious illness, the makeup artist reserves the right to reschedule the appointment to a later date when the client is no longer contagious. No cancellation fees will apply in such cases, and every effort will be made to accommodate the rescheduling. Additionally, if any family member, friend, or individual accompanying the client is visibly unwell, they may be asked to maintain their distance or leave the room to ensure a safe and hygienic working environment.

In the unfortunate event that the makeup artist becomes ill, injured, or experiences any health- related issues that prevent them from providing the agreed upon services, every reasonable effort will be made to arrange for a suitable replacement. However, if a replacement cannot be secured, the makeup artist shall not be held liable for any resulting damages or losses. In such cases, the client may choose to reschedule the appointment at a mutually agreeable time, subject to availability, or receive a full refund including the deposit.

  • Allergies:

Clients are required to disclose any known allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions that may impact the makeup application process. The makeup artist cannot be held liable for adverse reactions resulting from undisclosed information.

The makeup artist endeavors to use safe products to the best of their knowledge. However, it is essential to acknowledge the inherent risk of cross-contamination, including airborne particles, despite meticulous hygiene practices. Clients accept this risk when engaging the makeup artist's services.

  • Products Usages:

The makeup artist reserves the right to utilize professional-grade products deemed appropriate for the client's skin type and desired aesthetic. In the case a client may opt to provide their own products, it is essential to note that the makeup artist cannot guarantee the performance or final outcome of the makeover when using client-supplied products. The makeup artist retains the discretion to determine the suitability of any products requested by the client."

  • Sourcing:

If you request specific products, materials, or items, and we're able to source them for you, you'll be required to pay for them in full and upfront, covering any delivery fees and expenses. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any issues such as factory defects or shipping damages caused by third parties, which may impact the outcome of your appointment or your expectations.

  • Equipment:

The Makeup Artist should be the only person handling the makeup kit and equipment during the appointment.

In the event of damage or loss to any cosmetic products, tools, or equipment due to negligence or misuse by the client or any other individual present during the appointment, the client agrees to compensate the makeup artist for the repair or replacement costs.

The makeup artist reserves the right to assess the extent of the damage and determine the appropriate course of action for repair or replacement.

Any intentional damage to the makeup kit and equipment will result in additional charges and may be subject to legal action. Clients acknowledge their responsibility for the care and protection of the makeup artist's cosmetic kit and equipment during the duration of the appointment.

  • Contact Consent:

By booking our services, you consent to being contacted via various means including email, telephone, text messages, postal mail, social media, or any other suitable method. This contact may be necessary for reasons like organizing your booking, seeking feedback through surveys, collecting payments, or any other necessary reason or communication.

  • Image Usage:

Unless stated otherwise by the client before the booked appointments, clients consent to the use of photographs or videos taken during the makeup application process for promotional and marketing purposes, including but not limited to social media, website, and portfolio use. However, client privacy and confidentiality will be respected, and personal information will not be disclosed without consent.

  • Confidentiality:

We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all client information disclosed during and after the course of our services. This includes but is not limited to, personal and contact information, as well as any conversations or disclosures made in confidence.

We respect your privacy and will not disclose any sensitive information shared with us to any third party without your explicit consent. Your trust is important to us, and we take the responsibility of safeguarding your confidentiality seriously.

Rest assured that your personal information and any discussions held during our sessions will remain strictly confidential.

  • Other Agreements:

Additional agreements beyond those specified in this document may be subject to their own terms and conditions as mutually agreed upon by both parties. It is acknowledged that such agreements will only alter or supplement the terms outlined herein if explicitly stated in writing and signed by both parties.

  • Indemnification:

Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless the makeup artist from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from or related to the client's breach of the agreement, negligence, or misconduct.

  • Liability:

Faye Cumberbatch's liability is limited to providing a full refund.

  • Right to Amendment:

The makeup artist reserves the right to amend, modify, or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the makeup artist's website or otherwise communicated to clients.

  • Consumers Rights

Nothing in these terms and conditions shall affect the statutory rights of the client as a consumer.

  • Acceptance of Terms:

By contacting the makeup artist and proceeding with the booking or appointment, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined herein. The client's engagement with the makeup artist's services constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions in their entirety.
